It is May 7 1945

I am sitting like a scared little bird on the stairs in the Paleisstraat against the side of the Royal Palace.
Across the Dam are people running in panic.
Through the air the bullets fly around, hurting and killing people.
Panic dominates.
A man asked me if I can ran fast.
I nodded yes.
He takes me by the hand and we ran to a store on the other side.
Bullets flying over our head but we arrive safely.

The panic still goes on.

It is May 4 2010.  “A bomb”, somebody screams on the Dam.
People rush in panic to all sides.
No deceased this time, several wounded.
My panic is that from 65 years ago.
